Chopper Spins Wildly into Palm Trees at Popular Southern California Coast
A chopper flying over a well-attended coastal beach suddenly commenced twirling wildly, eventually losing altitude and plunging into a row of palm trees as beachgoers looked on.
Videos uploaded online depict the helicopter starting to spin near Huntington Beach then falling in the direction of the edge of the shore, where it ends up lodged between palms and a steps near the coastal road.

Emergency responders reported five persons were transported to a medical facility comprising two individuals who were in the chopper and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” following the incident on that day.
Three people on the street were harmed. Information on their injuries were not yet released.
The cause of the crash was not immediately released.
