The children's author David Walliams parted ways with longtime publisher.
Prolific children's author and comedian David Walliams has parted ways with his UK book publisher, the company has said.
An official for the company stated: "Upon deliberation, and under the leadership of its recently appointed chief executive, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing future works by David Walliams."
It has been reported that the decision was reached following an investigation into claims about questionable actions directed at female individuals.
The company has not elaborated on the specific rationale behind the move, noting: "We do not comment on internal matters."
A Prolific Literary Career
Walliams stands as a most best-selling authors for kids, boasting over over six tens of millions of copies internationally in 55 languages.
His first children's book, *The Boy in the Dress*, was published by HarperCollins fifteen years ago.
Some of his works, for example *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have also been adapted into small-screen adaptations.
He has published in excess of 40 works combined, including a holiday title titled *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins this past October.
